What Coffee describes YOU the best?

You are a Black Coffee
At your best, you are: low maintenance, friendly, and adaptable
At your worst, you are: cheap and angsty
You drink coffee when: you can get your hands on it
Your caffeine addiction level: high

Okay, I got this while randomly clicking blogs. And the result wasn't quite correct, but I'll take what I can. It's not right only because I'm not addicted to coffee, heck, I don't really drink that much coffee.

TNA Wrestling and YouTube.com finalize partnership program

Young U.S.-based wrestling company TNA Wrestling and social media darling YouTube has officially made its partnership.

In the past, TNA has been using YouTube for some clips with regards to their episodes of TNA Impact! and Pay-Per-View trailers. With their partnership now in full swing, it is expected that they would use YouTube's services to promote even more shows, and it could include a future show exclusive to the web tentatively titled, Global Impact!.

This is in contrast to what wrestling company WWE is doing with YouTube. They have officially requested to remove all WWE related material to the site and even threatened them with a lawsuit. This action has resulted in the removal of hundreds of videos of matches, trailers, and other user-made videos regarding WWE matches and events.

Tired of Microsoft Office? Give this Free Office Suite a try.

Here's an alternative to Microsoft Office. It contains most, if not all of the features that Microsoft Office has. And the best part of it all? It's Free. It's available for Linux and Windows-Based Systems.

OpenOffice.org 2.0 is an open-source office suite. It may or may not be a familiar name to you, but by the time you give it a try and get the hang of it, I'm sure you'd like OOo 2.0 a lot.

Here is a comparison of Microsoft Office and OpenOffice.org 2.0 based on an interview.

Samsung releases 2GB MMCMicro

Samsung has released its smallest, fastest, and biggest-capacity memory card to date. It is a 2GB MMC Micro which serves as an alternative to MicroSD Cards.

Read Speed: 7.4MB/s

Write Speed: 7.1MB/s

No shipping date has been announced so far.

Personally, seeing the development of Flash memory cards makes the iPod seem less impressive. The trend would start to shift to using MP3 players and cellphones with external card slots for expandability. But that's just me, I guess.

April 5, 2006 - Moments of Love...

I went out today to fetch my girlfriend Vanessa from her office in RCBC Plaza in Ayala... and I was a few minutes late. I made a mistake in riding the bus from our place to Ayala Avenue, so I had to take another bus to get to their building. There she was, smiling at me... and she gave me her cup of coffee. She wanted me to taste the coffee that she drinks in their office. It tasted a combination of hot chocolate and the normal coffee. It was still hot when she gave it to me. Neat thing my girlfriend does for me, huh.. ^_^

We went to Glorietta to eat lunch and just spend time together. We ate at KFC, where I tried their Chicken Teriyaki and she had her two pieces of chicken. Well, those Chicken Teriyaki pieces are VERY small. It's not something that you'd really want to order if you want to get full. It was there wherein I told her the details of my dreams. Well, she told me not to worry too much and to be calm at all times. Well, I guess she's right. I may have blown this dream connection out of proportion. I even jeopardized our harmonious relationship because of it. Oh well... at least that's worked out now.

We roamed around, she was looking for a leather wallet. At first, we couldn't find what she likes from the stores we happened to visit. It was around 2PM then when we decided to catch a movie. We picked "Moments of Love". Since the next showing would still be at 3PM, we roamed around some more, this time, she looked at some cross stitch patterns for a while, and still trying to find a store that sells all leather goods. We were chatting while walking, thinking about the scores that she needs to get to pass her training. She really gets disturbed about the thought that she might not make it. I tried to reassure her that everything would be fine, that she can still make it through. Well, for one, I think that it didn't really get to her. Oh well... that's how she is sometimes... cute. ^_^

We went back a few minutes before 3PM, what's annoying though was that the movie still wasn't finished when we went in, so the ending was showing there... we were able to watch the ending... before the start of the movie. It's a bit of a spoiler to the whole scheme of things... especially with GMA showing tiny bits of spoilers as to what would happen to the movie. You could like, uhm... connect it together by then. But of course, we still watched the movie from the start. While the trailers were showing, she showed me a new game in her cellphone... I don't remember the actual title... it was something like Hunting Tycoon? It was about hunting game animals (like rabbits and deers) and gaining cash for upgrading weaponry and buying extra ammunition. I watched her play until the movie started.

As to the movie itself, it was good to be honest. I don't really expect too much out of a romantic movie, but this one managed to pull off a few tricks off its sleeve. If I have to rate it though, it's like an 8.5/10. Could've been a 9 if they got Karylle's character's last name right. Oh yeah, and her mom's last name was wrong too. Watch the movie and see if you catch the mistake too.

After the movie, we bought a pack of large fries and coke float from McDonald's and we finished it off along the way. We went to AstroVision to check out some movie titles and see if there are some good flicks worth buying. While there may be some nice movies there, we didn't get anything... maybe next time, methinks. Our last stop before heading home was LandMark, where she checked out some clothes for her. No such luck for her too in that department.

We went home by means of commuting. It's not everyday that we commute our way home from Glorietta. For the first time ever, we got to ride an Air-conditioned Jeepney. Of course, the fair was a bit higher (10.00php per person), but it's worth it. I didn't take her home to their place since her mom knows that she was still in the office. So, after we went down from the aircon jeep, we just waited for her to catch her ride home, and I walked over a block for my own ride home.

The traffic was heavy in Edsa when I got there (it was almost 7PM then), so I opted to ride an MRT. It's been a while too... I got home faster, but unfortunately I left my keys to the rooms, so I was stuck hanging around my grandmother's place for a while until my dad arrived at around a little past 9PM.

Vanessa and I were still able to talk, mostly about how she would be faring on her training. I try to tell her that she could still make it and that she is doing well. I am really hoping that she does make it and be successful. She's gone through so much and she deserves to get a little slack cut for her.

I love you baby! Good luck! I'm just here if you need me.

April 4, 2006 - It's been a while... and I've got to go back somehow.

After days of thinking things over... If I'm doing the right thing, well, I've decided to get back with my beloved girlfriend. I do love her so much and it showed how much I missed her. We were crying on the phone. I cried so much that I looked so haggard when I put down the phone. My dad noticed I was crying so badly, I just told him it was something I needed to work through. He didn't really mind too much after that. I guess he knew that poking on the matter won't get him anything.

Dad left the house, he was invited to dinner by his students (presumably because they needed help in some feasibility study that they are doing). I'm all alone, still crying. I haven't really eaten at the time. I called Vanessa up as soon as I got myself to calm down and stop crying. Well, we patched things up and there you go. She was telling me how her past few days have gone by, and for some reason I was still crying.

I still feel some tears rolling down my cheeks. I'm not sure. I know at least that what I'm doing is the right thing. I should be thankful for having her in my life and to share these rough times of my life. I'm not sure how it all ends, where it all ends, when it ends, but this ride is something that I'd never try leaving again. I love her so much. I never could have thought that I'd be writing a blog entry in here again, but since I'm here, I want this "return" blog to still be about us. Just like the way it has always been. About the two of us.

If I say I'm going to stay strong for the rest of our relationship, the rest of our lives, that looks like an impossible mountain to climb. If I say, I'd be strong for us today, I think I can do that.

I love you baby! I missed you so much.

Some news:

--> Charles Barkley, Dominique Wilkins, Joe Dumars are heading into the Basketball Hall of Fame. Also to be inducted are Connecticut women's coach Geno Auriemma, Italian coach Sandro Gamba and longtime contributor Dave Gavitt. All of them are to be inducted in Springfield, Massachussetts this September.

--> Wrestlemania XXII is now in the books. Rey Mysterio Jr. won the World Heavyweight Championship in a truly awe-inspiring moment. Other results include Rob Van Dam winning the Money in the Bank ladder match, and John Cena somehow retaining the WWE Championship against Triple H. Larry Csonka has a recap of all the action from Wrestlemania. Click here to view the page.

--> The band 'Juana' has released a new single entitled "Ikaw Pa Rin". It's a nice song, I heard it over the radio, though I admit, it's hard to search for downloading. Go listen to them over the radio and if you like their song, buy a copy of the original album in your favorite record stores.
